Boxing

Build power and fitness. The ultimate way to combine cardio and strength training and become more resilient.

Power & fitness

More than just the fight

Lots of people search every day for a workout that combines strength, fitness and focus, and forget that boxing is exactly that. Challenge yourself with cardio and strength training, and become more resilient at the same time.

Boxing is also excellent for hand-eye coordination and challenges your mind in tactics, technique and insight. Your perseverance and patience get trained along the way.

Our training was developed with the help of Abdul Fkiri, women’s team coach at NOC*NSF (the Dutch Olympic Committee), a trainer with years of experience in boxing and coaching.

For everyone

Not just for men

Like Kung Fu, boxing is an old martial art built around the coordination of feet, eyes and hands, and around fitness. It’s a great way to work on strength, fitness and coordination in private lessons or small groups.

With the right training and guidance, boxing delivers a lot, especially if you want results in a short time. From explosive pad work to fast footwork, the variety makes every class a new challenge.

Although boxing still has a reputation as a men’s sport, more and more women have taken it up in recent years. No surprise: boxing is much more than just the fight.

FAQ

Boxing questions

Do I have to spar or take punches?

No. You can train perfectly well without sparring: on pads, the bag and with technique and conditioning drills. Sparring is always optional.

Do I need my own gloves?

Not for your trial class. When we schedule it, we’ll tell you what you’ll need later on.

Is boxing suitable for women?

Absolutely. More and more women box, and our training was co-developed by the NOC*NSF women’s team coach.

Do you offer group or private boxing lessons?

Both: private lessons and small-group classes. Ask about the options via the form.
