Taijiquan · Qi Gong · Nei Gong
A martial art from an authentic source. For anyone who wants to practise Tai Chi for health, as a martial art, or both.
Authentic Yang style
Connect Kung Fu Tai Chi is an official school under Tai Chi Sifu Liang Dehua. We are dedicated to preserving, promoting and spreading authentic Yang-style Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan), handed down through one of China’s most authentic and complete lineages.
Our syllabus derives from the official lineage of Grandmaster Gu Lisheng, passed on through his last indoor student, Master Chi Qingsheng. The curriculum also includes essential knowledge from Liang Dehua’s former Taijiquan teachers.

What you learn
Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Nei Gong complement each other: movement, energy and inner transformation.

Yang-style forms and applications, practised for both the health and martial aspects of this profound art.

“Energy work”: the health component. Medical Qi Gong exercises for wellbeing, Qi Gong massage and exercises to absorb Qi from heaven and earth.

“Internal work”: cultivating vitality (Jing), energy (Qi) and spirit (Shen) through Jibengong, breathing, meditation and alchemical practice.
Lineage
Grandmaster Gu Lisheng (Gu Luping) was a student of both Yang Shaohou and Yang Chengfu, two key figures of the Yang family. His art was passed on to his last indoor student, Master Chi Qingsheng.
Liang Dehua is a certified 6th-generation indoor student of this lineage. Our school teaches his curriculum.
Qi Gong & Nei Gong
Qi Gong means “energy work” and can be seen as the health component of the practice. We teach medical Qi Gong, designed to help maintain good health and address common health problems. Our methods include Qi Gong exercises for wellbeing, Qi Gong massage, exercises to absorb Qi from heaven and earth, and ways of applying external Qi to treat others (Wai Qi Liao Fa).
Nei Gong literally means “internal work”: the training that transforms the practitioner from within. The classical texts describe it as a method of cultivating vitality (Jing), energy (Qi) and spirit (Shen), by converting vitality into energy and energy into spirit.
It is a set of exercises made up of Jibengong (basic body methods), Qi Gong, breathing exercises, meditation, martial arts and alchemical practices. For martial artists, for example, it helps develop internal power.
